The Commission on Accreditation in
Physical Therapy Education awarded PTHMS full accreditation for
another 10 years.

PTHMS students were recognized at the
annual conference of the APTA with an honorable mention in the
Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge, a fundraiser for the Foundation
for Physical Therapy.

August 31, 2005, Randolph Perkins, PhD, who has been a
faculty member since 1974,
retired from his full time position. "Randy", as he is known by
the students and faculty, will
still be teaching in Neuroscience. Dr. Perkins was, and still is, a
fabulous teacher; ask any
of his former students.
This is the second time in the last three years that Randy has
received
the Joost Award for Excellence in
Teaching of the Feinberg School of Medicine.

In
August 2005, we welcomed Kirsten Moisio, PT, PhD, to the faculty.
Kirsten did postdoctoral training at
Rush University and will be
teaching anatomy to the physical
therapy students. Kirsten received
her PT degree from Washington University.
